Weave Personal
Being part of a community on Weave is always free. Weave Personal is for the person: your own network on Weave — everyone you know, not only the people your communities brought you — and more of Weave's attention, in every community you're part of.
- Import your LinkedIn connections and your contacts (iPhone, Google, Outlook or any CSV) into your private network and see who's already on Weave. When someone you know joins later, Weave lets you know.
- Up to 100 messages a day with Weave, in every community you belong to.
- Private to you. Your organizers never see it, the people in it are never told, and it never changes who gets introduced to whom.
Free for everyone, on every plan: adding people to your network by hand or just by telling Weave about someone you met, marking who you already know in a community, and hearing when they join. Nothing you've imported goes away if you stop paying.
The fine print, in plain language.
What counts as a member?
Someone who has finished their first conversation with Weave. People on your list who never sign in, or who sign in but don't finish, are never counted. Organizers aren't counted either.
What happens when we pass 25 people?
Weave lets you know and asks you to pick a plan. Nothing is switched off, and nobody in your community notices. Your first month on Standard is free.
Do our members pay anything?
No. Being part of a community on Weave is always free for members, on every plan. Some members choose Weave Personal for themselves — their own network, more messages, texting — but that's between them and Weave, never part of your bill, and it never changes who gets introduced to whom.
What does Weave take from dues?
On Plus and White label, you set the dues and collect them through Weave; Weave keeps 4%, and card processing is charged by Stripe at its standard rate. Organizers can exempt individual members at any time.
Is there a contract?
No. Plans are month to month and you can change or cancel from your billing portal. If your community shrinks, your bill does too.
What are the daily message limits for?
Weave is a host, not a chatbot to talk to all day. Forty messages a day is plenty to ask for a few introductions and answer Weave's questions (setting up your profile doesn't count); Plus communities get 60, and Weave Personal subscribers get 100 a day everywhere. When someone reaches the limit, Weave says so kindly and picks the conversation up the next day.
How does texting work?
Members who want texts add their number under My profile and confirm it with a code. Then intro proposals, accepted introductions, table invitations and reminders arrive by text, and texting Weave back starts a conversation — including questions about your schedule, venue and event info. Every plan includes it; members can reply STOP at any time.
We're a volunteer-run or grassroots group.
Under 25 people, Weave is free forever. If you're bigger than that and money is the only thing in the way, write to us — we'd rather have you than not.
Can we try it before choosing a plan?
Yes. Every community under 25 members is on the Free plan by default, and Standard is free for the first month. We can also spin up a demo community full of example people so you can see introductions happen before inviting anyone.
